Even among those not well-versed in fashion, the name Yves Saint Laurent rings a bell as a top designer. Now, the fashion house is on its way to being just as well-known in Web3 thanks to an incoming campaign.
The campaign, dubbed “Black Opium: The Night Is Ours”, will arrive in two parts and will see NFTs released to fans as well.

How Yves Saint Laurent is Coming for NFTs
In honor of the designer’s beloved Black Opium fragrances, YSL Beauty will release 2,014 “YSL Beauty Night Blocks” as part of an upcoming campaign. Of these, 2,000 will be original NFTs, and 14 will be ultra-rare. This number is a nod to the year of the first fragrance release. These Polygon-based assets will be primarily available to members of YSL Beauty’s digital community.
To get their hands on the NFTs, collectors must purchase the fragrance from the Yves Saint Laurent online store and they will get a digital asset along with it. This will be done after they download the official YSL Beauty wallet app. The NFTs also come with a number of perks including a gift voucher and access to exclusive content.
The second NFT drop, dubbed “YSL Beauty Night Masters”, will see its proceeds donated to charity. Those who are already part of the YSL Beauty community will get early access to the private and public sales which will be held on March 1 and 3, 2023 respectively.
