Northlands College has introduced its “Northlands College Metaverse Campus,” making it one of the limited number of colleges in Canada to establish a comprehensive campus in the Metaverse. This decision is part of the college’s broader strategy to integrate technology into education and expand its reach across Northern Saskatchewan.

The Northlands College Metaverse Campus is designed to offer an enriching learning environment that goes beyond conventional borders. Not only does it enable students to attend virtual lectures regardless of their time zone, but it also allows for a more flexible learning schedule. Recorded lectures make it feasible for these students to engage in what feels like an “in-person” lecture but on their own time.
