The renowned communication firm Pomilio Blumm has launched an initiative called “Curriculum on Chain,” highlighting innovative NFT technology uses. This forward-thinking project aims to transform academic certificates, diplomas, and awards into NFTs, providing a secure and straightforward way to verify and authenticate educational achievements.

Luiss University, known for its pioneering role in technological advancements within Italian and European academia, was at the forefront of adopting this cutting-edge certification system. It provides an innovative approach to academic validation, which Luiss University has already adopted. This new system enables students to document and track their academic journey. More importantly, it ensures the information is secure, traceable, and accessible.

Digital Certificates and Smart Validation

Pomilio Blumm is a European public communication firm with a track record of collaborating with over 200 institutions worldwide. The company is integrating blockchain technology with academia through “Curriculum on Chain.”

The ‘Curriculum on Chain’ project includes a Proof of Concept web application developed through React. This application enables the creation of non-custodial wallets for establishing digital identities on the blockchain. 

Furthermore, a secure wallet recovery protocol is included to help users regain academic certificates and history in case of lost cryptographic keys. The platform aims to be accessible to all users, regardless of their technical background.

From Academics to Digital Collectibles

The “Curriculum on Chain” concept has scope beyond academic validation. Its blockchain wallet can receive digital collectibles and assets, such as commemorative NFT tokens. This fusion of modern technology with traditional academic practices has the potential to establish secure and easily accessible academic credentialing standards.
