Bitcoin Pumps To $74,000; Donald Trump Leads on Polymarket, Kalshi

The vote counting process for US Elections 2024 has begun, and is favoring Donald Trump, as he continues to be leading Kamala Harris in most of the swing states, and also on Polymarket and Kalshi. In response to Republicans performance, Bitcoin crossed $74,000 today, and continues to pump further.

Bitcoin(BTC) hitting the $74,000 mark came in after last week’s fluctuations which pushed it to $67,090, at one point. But, it seems things are changing at fast pace for Bitcoin. BTC is now trading at 74,054 after a surge of over 8% in the past day. In fact, it has gone up by over 6% in just a few hours. We had earlier reported of Bitcoin trading at 71,431, as early vote count began to show Donald Trump’s dominance.

Prediction market platforms including Polymarket and Kalshi also show significant momentum for Donald Trump. Kalshi shows that Donald Trump is leading at 82% odds over Kamala Harris who has winning odds of just 18%.

According to Polymarket, Donald Trump is leading at 88.1% odds over Kamala Harris who has winning odds of just 12.7%.

According to the Associated Press, Vice President Harris is projected to win Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Meanwhile, it is expected that Trump will win in South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, and Tennessee.

Trump recently said on the talk radio program at Philadelphia’s 1210 WPHT, “If we win Pennsylvania, we win the whole election.” “We will make this country greater than ever before, but you must stay in line to vote. Don’t let them hold you back. You have an absolute legal right to cast your vote because if we win Pennsylvania, if we win the old Commonwealth, we win everything. We win it all.”
