What would make Hester happy in 2025?
Hester Peirce was asked by the interviewer regarding the changes that would make her happy in 2025 in the crypto industry. To this, Hester replied “I would be happy if, at the end of 2025, people would not go to crypto conferences, and the first thing they talked about was SEC regulation, I want people to get to the point where they are spending their time talking about the technology and its potential.” Hester commented.
A Call for Innovation-Driven Conversation
Hester Peirce’s comment indicate her belief that the industry should go beyond the regulatory challenges by the end of 2025 and should serve as a foundation for innovation, and not hinderance. She envisions a future where developers, investors, and entrepreneurs can confidently build and explore the potential of blockchain technology without being held down by the regulatory uncertainties.
Her vision reflects that she wants to ensure that the blockchain reaches its full potential and also addresses investor protection and market stability.
