Binance’s Bicasso, an AI Powered NFT Generator

0

Binance NFT has launched a cutting-edge NFT generator named Bicasso, which utilizes artificial intelligence to enable users of its marketplace to create unique, computer-generated images that can be minted as non-fungible tokens.

The beta version of Bicasso was released on March 1 with a limit of 10k mints. In a tweet, Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, invited users to turn their creative visions into NFTs using AI.

At its core, the AI generator resembles other AI art platforms such as DALL-E and Midjourney. Both allow users to type in creative prompts and produce unique images, or they can upload images for the tools to adapt and incorporate. Once generated through Bicasso, these images can then be minted as NFTs on the BNB chain.

Bicasso Experienced A few Glitches Due To High Demand

Bicasso was met with enthusiasm by the NFT community, managing to hit its 10k mint cap in just 2.5 hours after launch. Zhao broke the exciting news, noting that the initial mint cap had been hit in record time. However, the experience wasn’t without a few shortcomings, as “the AI was a little stressed out, but caught its breath now.”

The glitches were the result of high demand, and for future mints, Binance had taken steps to smoothen the process. “Our team is currently working to increase the server’s abilities to reduce errors and make the minting process smoother.”

That said, fans of Bicasso that missed out on the initial mint can still sign up. As a result, they will join the waitlist and can take part once the full version is launched.
