Bitcoin Cash is currently the talk of the town as it entertains the possibility of becoming a Cardano Partnerchain.

The network is undergoing a voting proposal to decide whether it will be a Partnerchain. Over 11,300 voters participated, and 65% had already voted in favor of the decision.

The proposal was posted on X by Charles Hoskinson, the Cardano founder. The founder invited the public to vote on the crucial decision. Although the proposal is hypothetical, Hoskinson has added layers of information that intrigue the masses.

According to the post, this integration can bring elements like NiPoPoWs, Ergo tech, and Proof of Work Leios into the fold. As almost 66% of the voters are in favor of the decision, the proposal can bring serious implications.

The remaining 34% who disagree are saying it’d be simpler to use Ergo. Users also stated that opting for Bitcoin Cash is like reaching for something dying, which is the opposite of Cardano’s goals.

Similarly, some voters who agree to the proposal are asking Cardano to show more enthusiasm for the Ergo smart contract platform. From an accumulated perspective, most voters agree that Ergo will be a better suitor for the integration.

In other news, Hoskinson has declined to issue an apology on the Ripple matter. The issue arose from a conspiracy theory that implied that the SEC prefers Ethereum over Ripple.

The Cardano founder has dismissed such allegations, deeming them mere speculations lacking credibility. Hoskinson previously underlined how Ethereum is modestly beginning as an 18 million-dollar ICO (Initial Coin Offering.) The statement hinted at regulatory leniency during Ethereum’s nascent stages due to the network’s informal arrangements and personal relationships.

While nothing can be said for sure, Cardano is indeed making headlines along with Charles Hoskinson. It remains to be seen how the recent X poll will dictate the future of Cardano and Bitcoin Cash.
