The UK High Court has rejected an appeal by the pseudonymous operator of Bitcoin.org, known as Cøbra, against a ruling that barred them from participating in legal proceedings to determine how much they must pay in legal costs to Dr. Craig Wright. Wright had sued Cøbra for copyright infringement over the Bitcoin white paper, which he authored, and had argued that parties to legal proceedings must identify themselves. The court said allowing Cøbra to participate in post-judgment proceedings anonymously would infringe on open justice. The ruling paves the way for Wright to recover his legal costs.
