Feline-themed blue chip NFT collection, Cool Cats, has joined forces with Web3 development and infrastructure platform, Futureverse, as both firms aim to enhance their respective brands.
Cool Cats announced the new development in a tweet from April 11, noting that it has partnered with Futureverse “to bring new products and experiences” to its community. Moving forward, fans of the project can expect to see a proprietary internal Web3 portal that will be accompanied by a marketplace that will allow holders of its NFTs to customize their assets. In addition, a suite of AI tools will become available for members to help evolve Cool Cats content, and a virtual metaspace will open a door to 3D exploration.
We’re excited to partner with @futureverse to bring new products and experiences to our community. A custom marketplace, 3D explorations, asset personalization, AI tools, and more.

The goal of the collaboration is to enhance the utility of Cool Cats NFTs and elevate the status of the project to help establish it as an industry leader. On the other hand, Futureverse intends to leverage Cool Cats’ unique strengths and capabilities to increase its presence within Web3.
Exciting Times Ahead for Cool Cats and Futureverse
The partnership has both camps excited about what is to come. In a statement, Stephen Teglas, CEO of Cool Cats, notes, “With Cool Cats leading the charge in creating compelling content that resonates with the Web3 community and beyond, Futureverse unlocking new technological advancements in metaverse infrastructure, including AI and digital wearables, and our recent strategic partnership with Animoca providing expertise in delivering top-notch gaming experiences, we’ve established a trifecta for future success.”
These sentiments are shared by Colin Egan, cofounder of Cool Cats, who notes that the project is happy to join forces with Futureverse. Hailing the strategic partnership as game-changing for the NFT project.
On the other side of the coin, Futureverse cofounder, Aaron McDonald, is equally excited by this deal. He notes, “Cool Cats has incredible intellectual property that is known and loved by its community. We are excited to be able to partner with them to help bring their IP and characters to life with our expertise in advanced technologies.”
Cool Cats launched in July 2021, featuring 9,999 PFP characters inspired by a blue cat. The project remains one of the most successful, having amassed a trading volume of 140,551 ETH, or $262.5 million.
