Donald Trump has announced a new NFT collection called the “Mugshot Edition” in reference to his legal troubles. The collection, which costs $99, includes 47 cards, and those who buy 47 or more will have the opportunity to dine with Trump at Mar-a-Lago and receive a piece of his mugshot suit. Some of the cards will be one-of-a-kind and could be signed by Trump himself. Previously issued Trump NFTs saw a drop in price following the announcement but have since rebounded. Trump, who was previously critical of cryptocurrency, has already released two NFT collections, both of which sold out. According to governmental ethics watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, Trump held $2.8 million in a cryptocurrency wallet as of early August, earned from NFT sales.
