Ducati Races into NFTs via the XRP Ledger Speedway

Famed high-powered motorcycle company, Ducati, has come roaring onto the blockchain via the XRP ledger speedway. Riding in the fast lane, fans can pick up a free NFT that will unlock exclusive benefits further down the track.

The new initiative will operate in conjunction with blockchain firm, Web3 Pro, notable for its work with Ducati’s parent company, Lamborghini. As a result, from July 26 motorcycle enthusiasts will have 7-days to register their interest to get in on the action.

For their troubles, collectors will receive a free NFT video featuring the evolution of the Ducati logo since the company’s founding in 1946. Further down the line, the NFT also promises access to future drops, plus additional, as yet unspecified, utility within the Ducati Web3 platform.

The XRP Ledger Continues to Carve a Place in the NFT Industry

Despite initially seeming like an odd place to launch an NFT collection, the XRP Ledger has spent a great deal of time developing its digital collectibles infrastructure. Since November 2022, millions of NFTs have debuted on the secure and speedy chain via its own native XLS-20 token standard. A momentum that has allowed it to quietly build and manage a diverse range of NFT paraphernalia that has proliferated through its chain.

The XRP Ledger itself has seen a great deal of coverage in the media as it remains at loggerheads with the SEC. Effectively, representing a major point of contention in the blockchain industry, that has regularly seen crypto prices fluctuate heavily on the whim of each announcement. All this unsavory activity, however, this has failed to dampen its spirits, or allowed it to waver from its steadfast ambitions in the NFT sphere.
