Ghosts of Ruin Anime Series with Elite NFT Access

0

Gala Film, the media branch of Web3 startup Gala Games, has an exciting NFT-related project in the pipeline: Ghosts of Ruin. Following recent casting news, this upcoming dystopian anime series is creating hype in the entertainment and Web3 sphere.

The series — featuring big-name actors, directors and musicians — touches upon a bunch of gamers traveling through a high-risk tournament set in a dystopian future version of San Francisco. All gamers are linked to players’ minds, resulting in a state-of-the-art experience that blurs the line between real and virtual worlds, creating a gaming experience inseparable from the player’s actual experiences and perceptions.

Ghosts of Ruin will kick start on the Gala Film platform in August. However, there’s a catch: early viewing is exclusive to holders of special-edition NFTs, initially created to finance the show’s production. These NFTs, separated into four tiers, offer different levels of immersive access to the series, contributing to rarity and desirability. For example, owners of ‘The Executive’ are given more ‘Frames’ to access extra Gala Film rewards when the NFT is paired with a node and the content is viewed.

Top Talent Joining the ‘Ghosts of Ruin’ NFT Series

Ghosts of Ruin is directed and written by Michael Ryan, who recently served as the production leader of Apple TV’s animated series ‘Wolfboy’ and ‘The Everything Factory’. Ryan brought in skillful actors to boost the series’ appeal and build on its fan base. One of those actors includes Rosario Dawson, who is most famously known for being the Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano and featuring in the Disney+ series ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ and ‘The Mandalorian’. Dawson will voice the Ghosts of Ruin character Prism, an unsociable professional gamer who appears to care about nothing else than winning.

Tony Revolori is another famous actor featuring in Gala’s upcoming series. Best known for performing in the Wes Anderson film ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ and Marvel Studio’s ‘Spider-Man’, he is the persona behind Lee, who, unlike Prism, is noncompetitive and joins the tournament last minute.

However, a good series is not just the product of iconic directors and actors; the infusion of music also plays a significant role. For this reason, Gala Film hired Battle Island, a media content firm, to manage Ghosts of Ruin’s rhythm. Battle Island’s choice to use original music from Hans Zimmer’s ‘Bleeding Fingers’ collective is particularly notable. Already known for iconic scores from films like ‘The Dark Knight’, ‘Interstellar’, and ‘Inception’, Zimmer’s music uniquely creates memorable cinematic moments and evokes strong emotions.

Ghost of Ruin is poised to innovate the entertainment sphere thanks to its exclusiveness, presence of renowned personalities, and stepping towards a future where the boundaries between virtual and real worlds are fluid.
