Hoskinson Says Cardano (ADA) Ecosystem Is Better For Bitcoin Ordinals

Charles Hoskinson shared his views on the latest crypto trend “Bitcoin ordinals” & indirectly hinted that Cardano will welcome technical support for Ordinals. 

Ordinals is a protocol, which allows people to easily mint NFTs, images, text, software code, etc on the Bitcoin network directly. In January this protocol was introduced by Casey Rodamor but in March of this year, this Innovation started to grab popularity. 

On 27 May 2023, Charles Hoskinson, the co-founder of Ethereum & Cardano blockchain, appeared in a new video podcast on his personal YouTube channel.

Hoskinson supported the Bitcoin ordinals concept and said that Cardano  has a better ecosystem for this innovation.

“We have a much better ecosystem (for Ordinals)”, Hoskinson said.

Bitcoin hater Peter Schiff supports Bitcoin ordinals

Just a day ago, popular Bitcoin hater & global economist Peter Schiff announced the launch of his NFTs collection via Bitcoin ordinals. 

Many people welcomed Peter for his support for Bitcoin ordinals, while Peter confirmed that he is still against Bitcoin. 

Over the past couple of weeks, the Ordinals concept grabbed huge popularity among every crypto enthusiast because of the new use case for Proof-of-work (PoW) crypto networks, but failed to grab popularity on non-bitcoin networks.

Microstrategy focuses Ordinals

Last week former Microstrategy CEO Michael Saylor also talked about Bitcoin ordinals and confirmed that he is happy to see this innovation in the Bitcoin network ecosystem.

He also said that his firm will explore the new opportunities associated with Ordinals to develop unique use cases focussed Digital apps on the Bitcoin network.

The current trade price of Bitcoin is $27,302 & this current trade price is 1.9% high than the last 24 hours’ trade price.

Ordinals on Monero 

Last week, some devs proposed Ordinals on the Monero blockchain, called Mordinals. The majority of the Monero supporters slammed Mordinals concept citing the potential risk to the privacy of network users.
