We’ve seen a rise in mainstream companies launching web3 and NFT-related projects. From Starbucks to Adidas, they seem to be the hottest trend in the corporate world. One of the advantages of this is that these companies need talent that is trained in web3 affairs.
Take LG, a top electronics company, that has recently advertised openings for engineers in its chief technical officer (CTO) division. More specifically, LG is looking for engineers as it enters into the Web3 space.
This new division is seeking talent for two departments under the division, which are business development and service design. The business development department will focus on creating new business opportunities and partnerships for the company in the web3 sector while the service design department is to develop applications that are compatible with the web3 and blockchain sectors as well as conduct research into both.
Naturally, those applying for the role are expected to have experience in web3 and blockchain and these are listed on the official LG website. Given how popular web3 projects have become among corporations and the rush many of them are in to not get left behind, these teams will certainly have their work cut out for them.
Still, this development shows the wealth of opportunities for the more web3 inclined in the professional world.
