Cardano dedicated language Marlowe is now live on the Cardano mainnet.
Cardano is a scalable Proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain network. ADA is a native coin of the Cardano Blockchain and the current rank of this coin is 7th in the crypto market by 24 trade volume.
The mainnet of the Cardano blockchain was launched in 2017 under the leadership of Charles Hoskinson. Hoskinson founded Cardano blockchain firm Input Output Hong Kong Global (IOG), after leaving the Ethereum blockchain project.
On 30 May 2023, IOG announced the launch of Marlowe on the Cardano mainnet blockchain. In the current phase, this is available for the early adopters & early testers.
Marlowe is a domain-specific language (DSL) designed for this PoS blockchain. This DSL focussed to provide a secure creation and execution of smart contracts on the Cardano Blockchain. This Cardano-specific language, designed to be user-friendly and approachable, is aimed at making financial contracts and agreements accessible to individuals, regardless of their programming background.
With the launch of Marlowe, Cardano achieved another milestone at the technical level because it will boost smart contract ecosystem utility at practical levels.
The IOG devs invited crypto devs to test Marlowe & provide feedback so that IOG can bring more updates to provide a better experience for the developers.
Cardano network load
Over the past few weeks, the Cardano network has been running with a very high load, as huge numbers of people are using the Cardano network for their crypto transactions because of high network fees on the Bitcoin & Ethereum blockchain network.
Cardano Dev confirmed that Cardano has been already tested in an under high-stress environment & there was no issue, so in this situation, it will run at full capacity without any issue.
ADA price action
The current trade price of the ADA coin is $0.3786 & this trade price is 2.4% higher over the last 7 days trade price.
