Mastercard is orchestrating itself to be at the forefront of digital music innovation. Tuning into its ‘Mastercard Web3 Music Accelerator’, the banking giant’s harmonic blockchain initiative is on the brink of debuting five pioneering AI-generated music NFTs presented by Billboard from July 27.

This intriguing pinnacle of Mastercard’s already-existing Web3 program is an extension of the company’s ‘Mastercard Music Pass’, which impressively witnessed over 100k mints. Now preparing to set the project’s stage are five artists from different corners of the world — all of who will be taking full advantage of the pioneering AI tools and educational advice offered.

A Symphony of NFTs, AI and Musical Talents

AI Music Studio — bolstered by the industry-leading generative AI music technology firm WarpSound — spearheaded the production of these artists utilizing AI technology:

  • Young Athena: London-based soul and R&B singer and BRIT School graduate
  • LeriQ: Nigerian afrobeat and R&B record producer and songwriter
  • Cocoa Sarai: Brooklyn-bred, American-Jamaican singer
  • Emily Vu: Vietnamese American pop artist championing LGBTQ+ rights
  • Manu Manzo: Venezuelan pop singer, songwriter and producer.

By bringing in such a diverse range of musical talents, the Mastercard Web3 Music Accelerator is on a roll to disrupt the music landscape, leaning toward a more innovative, exclusive, and digitally-driven music production and consumption era.

In the interim, Web3 fanatics and music lovers can eagerly await the project’s live-stream Billboard event, whereby these songs will be played for the first time. Fans can purchase the artists’ music NFTs via OneOf during the showcase. So, stay tuned!
