Mojo Melee in Superb Amazon Prime Partnership

0

Despite hinting at the launch of an in-house NFT marketplace since the beginning of the year, Amazon has yet to deliver on its promised digital collectibles hub. However, this does not mean that it has put its NFT plans on hold, with Amazon Prime subscribers now entitled to claim free tokens for the Polygon-based game, Mojo Melee!

Available immediately, any gamers who subscribe to Amazon Prime who create a Mojo Melee account will qualify for the promotion. As a result, they can claim one NFT champion in the shape of Gwyn Rockhopper, and 850 units of the game’s non-tradable currency, ORE.

Unlike regular player characters, the NFTs will be available to players immediately without hitting a required level within the game. This means that they will own their digital items from the offset, and have full control of their in-game selves.

According to the accompanying documentation, this latest development forms part of an ongoing promotion that will last for 6 months. As a result, those taking part can expect monthly bonus content of additional NFTs and benefits within the game for Amazon Prime subscribers.

Mojo Melee Takes a Tour on Desktop and Mobile Devices

Playable on most desktop browsers, and on Android mobile devices, Mojo Melee offers a frantic strategy-based combat system that requires gamers to calculate their every move. Upon the battlefield, they must follow an auto-chess style format to overcome the odds and defeat their enemies.

The game was developed by the accomplished Mystic Moose studio and forms part of its wider ‘Planet Mojo’ Metaverse. Way back in December 2021, it raised an impressive $5 million in funding, and now, with the Amazon Prime partnership, it looks like that investment is paying off!
