PancakeSwap introduces Nemesis Downfall

PancakeSwap introduced its first-person shooter title, Nemesis Downfall. The game’s beta version is scheduled to go live on February 28, 2024, at 9 a.m. UTC. Players will be able to access the gaming title in PancakeSwap’s Gaming Marketplace. CAKE and ND will feature as native tokens in the virtual world. However, rewards will be rolled out in ND only.

The beta launch aims to tease the power of blockchain technology, with Nemesis Downfall specifically sporting its architecture on the BNB Chain. A total of two gaming modes are said to go live: casual and competitive. PancakeSwap, with the launch of Nemesis Downfall, intends to revolutionize the play-to-earn segment, also known as P2E.

Both tokens—ND and CAKE—can be utilized to buy in-game assets and items. This includes weapon skins, characters, and collectibles themed on the concept of the native ecosystem.

The beta launch of Nemesis Downfall brings two specific modes with it, namely deathmatch and one-in-the-chamber. More than ten characters will feature in the ecosystem, along with free skins and a chance to unlock exclusive skins. What makes it more interesting is the presence of a leaderboard that will showcase the ranks of participants in an ongoing tournament. ND rewards will be rolled out only after players have won a game.

In-game items that players can buy are NFTs, characters, and weapons. Also, Nemesis Downfall allows players to withdraw their tokens and NFTs from the platform. The two maps that will be featured are WAIF Military Base and Subterranean Strife.

Interested players can secure their respective spots by signing up for the beta launch. Nemesis Downfall will go live in Gaming Marketplace effective February 28, 2024, at 9 a.m. UTC.
