As per a recent announcement by Ord.io (an Ordinals NFT platform spearheaded by Leonidas, the creative force behind Runestone), Buoyant Capital and BTC Machine have introduced ‘The Gamestone’—a new NFT airdrop exclusive to Runestone holders.
Just five hours ago, the process of distributing “the child of The Runestone” began. To verify eligibility, here are the simple steps to follow:
- Head to http://ord.io
- Input crypto address in the search bar
- Filter the results to show the newest entries.
As of the latest update, 3,088 Gamestones have been successfully airdropped to Runestone owners. An additional 109,689 are still making their way to Ordinal-heavy wallets!
Runestone’s Influence on Gamestone
The significance of the Gamestone project is intertwined with the success of Runestone.
Launched just ten days ago, Runestone rapidly gained traction. As per CoinGecko, the Bitcoin-based NFTs now boast an impressive market cap of $304 million (4,653 BTC) through secondary sales.
Runestone’s distinct characteristics, such as its substantial file size embedded in Bitcoin block 832,947 and its commitment to open-source methodologies and community involvement, set it apart from traditional NFT projects.
