Shiba Inu (SHIB) marketing lead Lucie recently took to X and teased the project’s upcoming stablecoin, SHI. According to the post, the stablecoin initiative aims to bring additional stability and utility to the Shibarium ecosystem.

Lucie highlights that the SHI stablecoin is currently under critical development and has not been released yet. The marketing lead states, “Its introduction is expected to significantly enhance the Shibarium network.

Will SHI Boost Shiba Inu’s Price To $0.01?

The SHI stablecoin was first introduced by SHIB’s creator, Ryoshi, in 2021. According to Lucie, “The original idea for SHI is to peg it at $0.01, though the specific mechanism for achieving this peg has not been determined.

Although the SHIB team has not revealed a launch date for the upcoming stablecoin, many anticipate it to bring further utility to the Shibarium network. More utility for Shibarium may lead to more adoption for SHIB, potentially pushing the asset’s price. The presence of a stablecoin may boost users for Shibarium. Users who are weary of the volatility of cryptocurrencies may find SHI a much better way to interact with the cryptocurrency space.

When Will The Cryptocurrency Hit $0.01?

Reaching $0.01 will not be an easy task for SHIB. Hitting $0.01 from current prices will entail a rally of about 52,173.92%. While the figure may seem substantially large, it is not something Shiba Inu (SHIB) has not achieved before.

According to Changelly, SHIB will hit the $0.01 mark sometime between 2040 and 2050.
