Web3 Game Discovery and Wallet App Glip Hits 7M Downloads, Raises $2.5M

Glip, an India-based startup with a global web3 game discovery and wallet app, has secured $2.5m in a funding round led by Hashed Emergent with participation from Beenext and existing investor Prime Venture Partners with the goal of bringing millions of gamers to web3.

Glip has secured $6 million in funding through various rounds so far, and the project saw tremendous success early on by onboarding 1 million gamers within the first three months of launching.

What Is Glip?

Today, Glip has a live platform with over 2 million active users. They are building a dedicated distribution platform for all of the web3 games currently building quality gameplay and sustainable economies. So far, they have signed up web3 games like Axie Infinity, League of Kingdoms, and KOF Arena by Netmarble to boost user acquisition and engagement.

By listing their gaming on platform, projects are able to access Glip’s 2 million monthly active users.

Glip is currently the biggest web3 app for gamers in India, and still growing. On the application, Gamers can discover new web3 games, watch tutorials, and participate in tournaments and quests, all in one app. In addition, they get a social login, and a non-custodial, multi-chain, gasless wallet as soon as they log in to the app.

What’s Next for Glip?

With the $2.5 million in funding secured from Hashed Emergent, Prime Venture Partners and Beenext, Glip will use the funds to expand their ten-member team, launch new product features, and grow their community globally.

Because of their organically growing gaming community, and partnerships with web3 games, Glip is in great position to become a leading player in the GameFi sector.
